This 3 hour workshop is specifically designed to provide you with a clear understanding of the HUD/FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac - Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM) Products, and to guide you through the simple steps to link your clients with these important programs.

Maine has some of the oldest and least energy efficient housing stock in the country. With today's rising energy prices, there is a growing consumer market for more energy efficient homes. EEM's can be used to finance the energy upgrades of both newly built and older existing homes by applying the monthly energy savings of those upgrades to increase the borrowing power of your clients. This workshop will show you how leveraging your client's investments in energy efficiency can also help increase your pool of qualified home buyers.
