Since 2001, Horizon Residential Energy Services NH LLC (Horizon-RES) has been dedicated to providing home builders and homeowners with straightforward and unbiased advice to help you determine the most practical and cost effective ways to increase the energy performance of your new or existing home.

Located in Concord, NH and owned and operated by Kevin Hanlon since 2007, Horizon-RES works with homeowners, builders and public utility companies to provide weatherization consulting, home energy inspections, Energy Efficient Mortgage Services, home energy audits, Energy Code Compliance inspections, and ENERGY STARĀ® Certifications. Horizon-RES is also a RESNET Accredited HERS Provider.

Horizon-RES has conducted over 400 home energy audits for existing homes to help homeowners find the most cost effective measures to improve the energy performance of their existing home.

Horizon-RES is also approved to provide third party certification reports to builders for the Federal Energy Tax Credit program.

Kevin Hanlon, Owner/Manager

Kevin Hanlon has been active in weatherization for over 18 years. He is a certified HERS rater, HERS QA designee, and  a BPI Certified building performance Quality Assurance / Quality Control monitor. He is a member of the Northeast HERS Alliance (https://www.nehers.org) and a past Treasurer of REPA-NH, a non-profit trade group dedicated to the building performance industry (www.repa-nh.org). Kevin is continually attending trainings, webinars, and classes regarding Building Science and Healthy Homes.

Ken Cantara, QA Technician

Ken Cantara comes to Horizon-RES after working for 15 years in the Low Income Weatherization Assistance as Energy Auditor and Weatherization Technical Coordinator. Ken became a State Certified Energy Auditor in 2006 and currently holds certifications from BPI as Building Analyst, Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector. He is a current board member of REPA-NH and is a member of the State of New Hampshire Weatherization Technical Committee. Ken is also continually attending trainings, webinars, and classes regarding Building Science and Healthy Homes. Ken was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and served 21 years in the National Guard.

Linda Hanlon, Business Manager

Linda Hanlon joined Horizon-RES as Business Manager in 2007. She graduated from Salem State University with a BS in Business Administration. Before joining Horizon, she worked at several NH locations in an administrative/office management capacity.

Rayanna boewe, program coordinator/administration

Rayanna joined Horizon-RES as a Program Coordinator for the Home Performance with Energy Star program in June of 2019. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with an AS in Information Technology. She has worked in administration for several years and is enlisted with the NH Army National Guard.
